Sorry Patzer, missed your question.  I said I was leaving and probably will.  I'm pleased that there've been improvements, and even more pleased that Staff are prepared to discuss these issues.  I still have reservations about this site as I often experience pc problems when using it that don't ever occur when I'm not.  I'm not a pc techy but find this very unusual.

And the latest glaring example of bias on this site can be found on a current thread about International womens day.  Commander Riker, a self confessed Trump campaigner makes no comment on abusive comments there, while defending Trump who makes disgusting remarks about his own daughter.

  Says it all folks.  Don't expect a level playing field when it comes to administering the site rules, cos you'll be sadly diasappointed.  Or, what can we expect from a pig but a grunt.  Any other Staff wish to comment on the obvious, blatant bias here?  Martin, how much do they pay you to defend this crap?  I'd sooner eat worms than work for people like this.

Check out 'International Womens Day' Martin.  Not only did Riker start the political chat but refused to comment on one of the rt-wing abusive ranters.  They're funny in a way, unable to have dialogue without turning purple, but rule breakers nevertheless and Commander Riker makes no mention on this but threatens everyone else not to make a political comment. 

Once again, a perfect example of the bias that doesn't allow civil discussion on a political point, but does allow rt wing zealots to make abusive political accusations.  And of course, there for all to see; the very reason that this thread is running to expose these people.  Site rules should state that, 'Offensive rt-wingers are free to say what they want but it's not allowed to contradict them'.

It's so obvious.

I'd say he probably rants like that all the time but who knows.  The point is that it was allowed by Staff member and Trump campaigner, 'Kommander Riker', while at the same time he warns others not to be political!!  

It's so bad that it's funny; he can't seem to recognise his own bias but points the finger at others. If anyone had any doubts about the political nature of this site before, then I hope it's clear to everyone now.  It's ok to break the stated site rules if you wish to make bigoted, racist remarks but not engage in civil discussion that the owner doesn't agree with.

Well that's the point isn't it Ghosty, I think.  If the site advertised itself as maybe, 'The best redneck chess site in the world', or something like 'God squad and Bigots chess domain', then the rest of us would know to keep well clear.

As it stands, we've had to put up the duplicity and moralising of staff and mods that dictate the rules as they interpret them, a bit like varying religions interpret their chosen 'gods' words.  Tunnel vision, closed minds doesn't allow them to view things from others perspective.

  It's no wonder that so many threads have been closed as those of us who enjoy some polite political debate thought it was ok to do so given the rt-wing rantings and racist, xenophobic stuff that littered the site, even though they break all the rules.

  But there it is, in black and white so to speak, for all the world to see.  Not one comment from Staff member Riker about the racist rant but a warning to others that they won't be allowed to respond to the bigot who made those remarks.

I often wonder what the many different nationalities who use the site think as they're often the people abused by the 'good ol boys', and who are obviously favoured by the owner and staff.  Not good for business I'd have thought, or he's making that much from selling our details he doesn't give a toss.
