Those under 25 may no longer be capable of conversations that don't revolve around themselves
Sad, but most likely true. It could be I'm lumping in 22-25 yr olds in with the youngers, but i see that age group knowing very little about world events or other things that could have a major impact on them.
Nor do they care that they do not know.
But ask them about Vanderkamp Rules or something awful, and they will talk your ear off!
Haha, I'd love to, but people no longer post in any threads I make (because I'm a furry) and I don't have an alt.
8 Fair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ believe me if I could make an account on furaffinity I would leave y'all forever, but my parents lock down my stuff so hard
Are those under 25 no longer capable of conversations that don't revolve around themselves?
Lets take a look at the forum topics listed as most current on the 1st page in order from top to bottom at 6:47p eastern time
"Could you beat the person above your profile in a fight"
"Will you date the person below your profile"
"Challenge: act like your pfp"
"I'm coming out of the closet"
"Share the worst part of the pandemic"
"Truth or dare"
"I like rev"
"Officially back"
"Argue about furries"
ugh, i just can't go on listing the topics...
Now, in the name of fairness, i've scrolled back numerous days and did see a few topics that were substantive discussion starters. I also saw even more inane and idiotic forums so i had to stop.
Of the ones with anything resembling substantive or thought provoking, or even just FUNNY, they appear to have all been started by people over the age of 25.
Kids, i know you're kids, but please, for your brains sake, go take a look at what you're interested in and realize we adults will not be here to help you forever.
You MUST learn to think and engage with topics that don't have to do with yourselves.
Thats my public service announcement.
Now back to your regularly scheduled topics like "Am I GOD" , "I AM BORED (PART 5)", "what", or something else equally scintillating.
NOW.....
