An alternate view on your post #2 is why do we put military bases all over the world? Hard not to be close to our military bases if you can't go too far without running into them

Personally, I don't believe the western media is corrupt to the core. I do not believe that cronyism and corrution has infested the western world like a canker. The few western politicians, and you know who they are, that have dared to speak against our benefactors have deserved what they've gotten! They have been completely tarnished and assualted by the mass-media! And rightfully so!
So Putin doesn't dance to the globalists tune. He dares to put his own people first. He dares to put Russia first. He doesn't bow down and kiss Nato's ass.
How dare he!
Isn't obvious that these western, hyper-capitalist, globalist elites are only interested in what's best for the world? How dare Putin, La Pen, UKIP, AfD and others oppose the globalists???
No, it's obvious - very obvious, that these globalists are our benefactors, and the mass-media does a good service in doing everything they can to spin it, and influence, and poison the mindless western masses against Putin.
Putin puts his own people first. He doesn't kiss America's ass. He doesn't kiss the EU's ass. He doesn't kiss Nato's ass. And for that, he must be destroyed!
