Yeah I saw the fighting . I didn't get it really . I saw Carla was blocked !! Why are people blocking Carla ?!!! She's really sweet. Am I missing something?

FB you are always involved in a fight! You're far from the only one though .

It's a little dizzying jumping around threads . Like an amusement park ride .

I think that it's not fair to people that I post on their threads while I'm still interested in what we are . It's boring for people and distracts from their topic .

I'll post only here till I'm satisfied that I've come to a conclusion or are no longer wondering .

I'm sorry for anyone that I've drove crazy but now at least unless people visit my thread they won't be bored .

I'm curious to see what I'll post here . I hold the view that free will doesn't exist.

So I'm interested to see what the universe will do.

I feel less sure today I doesn't exist .

I mean yes without free will the I we imagine won't be as it's generally appreciated but could there still be an I of sorts?

I think that's thoughts feelings and behaviours are a matter of causality . Beliefs too .

I suppose consciousness is the same .

And yet it's different .

I mean yes if our bodies are damaged and we become unconscious we don't experience anything . Causality.

But the consciousness we have , we all have. It doesn't change does it? The awareness .

This noticing happens our entire lives and we can all accept perhaps that this consciousness is generic. My consciousness is your consciousness .

So this is the question. Am I consciousness? If so then I think it's probable that it's we are consciousness rather than I.

I wonder if consciousness is in anyway combined. I think Jung wondered that too .

Certainly as we communicate we affect the consciousness of each other .

Have you ever heard of trees that release things into the atmosphere to fall onto other things? I'm not very smart.

It just occurs to me that sometimes there is a pattern between life forms that's all.

What is nature? What is consciousness? Without free will can I exist?

No free will. No god. Yes the multiverse. I?

I m having trouble enough as it is with just one universe... I just  could not handle the multiverse.

Ha ha . My friend I think Hawking is correct that there's more than one .

He makes the point that the laws of nature in this universe are extremely improbable in that they lead to life . His conclusion is there are many many universes without life .

I think his assertion is reasonable . After all who could have imagined how much the universe we have has within it?

Consciousness, I, consciousness.

It feels like the same thing doesn't it?

Let's imagine for a moment that consciousness isn't us, not really us.

For me it's perfectly easy to imagine that our thoughts and feelings and behaviours aren't us.

After all if someone punches me in the face I think how dare you , I feel angry, I punch them back. All causality. A simple example.

But abandoning the idea that consciousness = I . That's something that's interesting to look at. To me anyway.

Also what is nature?

My own feeling is that nature is about accident. Coincidence .

And yet it's clear if we see a car heading towards us we move .

I suppose that this consciousness thing changes things.

It's hard to argue everything is an accident when there is clearly design in our behaviour .

Well there you go!

This is tricky. The world is here by accident and yet there is design within nature.

But it's fair to say in my opinion that this design is unique to life forms. Conscious life forms
