I saved a fly today . Maybe that's this compassion you mean gerberk. Empathy.

I tend to be too afraid to help spiders . Certainly forkytails . Those scary insects .

Does anyone love forkytails?!!

Even they hate themselves !

Gerberk .

You know I was thinking about md saying no free will equals no responsibility.

I'd say that on a religious view that's true . But practically no .

I'm aware that though I have no free will my actions can damage . I know I have to stay sober and eat and sleep well and educate myself .

Some that think they have free will say everything is the fault of the other as they made those choices that caused them to be hurt.

A 'mini-car show' link, {'Calabasus' Ca. from '2014'} ..where the background music..{& onscreen 'show' 'visitors' second}.. is undoubtedly the most memorable, viewing 'take-away'! ..{linked}

It's not about saving a fly, it is about how you look at a fly. Can't put it differently. You can save it and be proud you even have a heart for something as worthless as a fly. That makes you egocentric and haughty and without a heart really. Or you can see it as my daughter did. The fly was just looking forward to the cheese. Very normal.

The fly is not important in my example.

It is how you approach things. It is the eye you have for your surroundings, it is the place you give yourself in this world Wink

I've had enough of multiple threads . I'm going to stay right here from now on . Right now I feel like talking about what we are but whenever I feel like talking about anything else I'll do it here .

I want to say that everyone and anyone is welcome here to talk about whatever they like but please don't copy and paste excessively as it's lovely to hear from people in their own words and to be able to follow the conversation. Thank you .

Remember when you started a thread with this tom?

You promised your wife, you swore up and down, you shouted at the top of your lungs, this is it, "I've given up the search".

I'm still waiting on that list tom:

1. Things that do not love- voles? Certain types of spiders

2. More importantly things that do love? Not humans because we have no soul. I get that. But what about dogs? I'd be upset to learn my dog doesn't love me. He's been such a good dog.
