Your list is embarrassing. What age of comics or media are you using as a reference point?

Spiderman, Captain and Wolverine needs to leave the list. Iron Man also I guess, though he is a lot closer to get on it.

Replace with maybe Flash, Martian Manhunter, Magneto. Gladiator.

In terms of strongest, these would be my choices.

Ooh, Dr. Manhattan. That's an interesting choice, I forgot about him.

Incidentally, I think that Professor X would be the best superhero chess player.

That sounds about right. He might be second to Chuckmate Norris, though. ;-)

I like the first list

Might Mouse has the greatest power to weight ratio.  It's a no brainer.

But he's not a superhero, he's a villain...

First, define "strongest"...do you mean hardest to defeat, or capable of the most "power" offensively?

If we're allowed to use historical heroes, then I would say:

Powerful:

Dr. Strange

Silver Surfer

Phoenix

Starhawk (original Guardians of the Galaxy)

Green Lantern

Black Bolt

Most "invincible":

Hulk

Superman

Thor

I'm open to a 10th...maybe Adam Warlock, who steals souls.  Not as powerful or versatile as many, but one-on-one allows for the defeat of the other 9 heroes listed...

P.S. Heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, etc. don't even rate a mention.

I feel there should be two separate lists. One for Marvel heroes and one for DC. Does anyone else agree?

I agree with that Ridgewood but no matter what, Superman will be top in my list.
