Please stay on topic in off topic unless you have an adjacent topic, then be on topic while off topic in the off topic- was the title- too long-

The topic here is 'Topics', or, rather, the lack thereof. We have seen many empty threads begging for attention when the senders have no idea what is going on. Well, neither do I, but that's neither here nor there. So, interrupt all you want. There's no topic worth pursuing that can't ultimately be interrupted. And no men. Or women. Or trans. Or Blue People. Or anybody, so we can have a nice calm discussion about topics, without all the testosterone and estrogen, and where we should direct our humor and interruptions next. Only Spocks apply. I'm only doing this for the achievement.

I think topics are really cute. What about ya'll?

"And no men. Or women. Or trans. Or Blue People. Or anybody, so we can have a nice calm discussion about topics" Does that mean you only want the Off Topic animals to respond?

I'll have to check the status of Animal People with the National Register. I'll get back to you.

Do the Animal People come with leashes, or handlers? Do we need to build special facilities, like Hippo washrooms, or other special areas?

This morning while I was waiting for the bus a small yellow bird fell out of the sky. It didn't glide down or flutter down it was dead weight. I heard the THUD on the sidewalk. After it hit the sidewalk it started flopping around on it's side, flailing with one wing. Then it settled down, closed its eyes, laid on it's side and twitched. Then it was still. After several minuets I thought "Well at least it was a quick death." A few minuets later my bus was two blocks away so I figured I had time to move the bird to the dirt around the token city tree. I took two steps and the bird started flailing and twitching again. Then my bus pulled up. I felt bad because there was nothing i could do for the bird. So I got on my bus thinking about this bird.
