trysts and i happen to have a lot in common, and we've both been here for a long time.
as far as posting when drinking, guilty! that's why i apologize!
i don't understand what you mean when you write, "moving on in life". really, what is that supposed to mean?
by the way, ronnie, i quit smoking the day of my last surgery. I'm currently using a vape to help wean me off the nicotine addiction. if you are still struggling, it may be an option. I haven't touched a ciggie in three months, and i never will again.
Well the Duck got reported yet again. I am not allowed to claim I am an unofficial freelance mod and so my post got deleted. I also mentioned that cc members hate Jamie. Seems nobody could refute or argue that point and so I got done for a technicality instead.

the response from staff was stern. it may have been one of the times i was muted. impersonating a mod or staff is not taken well here, even when it's an obvious joke.

my future wife saw i hated my addiction. she is a brilliant woman. she only told me one thing-pick a quit date.
i did and it has worked.
while vape has not been studied a lot, i look at it this way. it's better than putting smoke in my lungs. and, i'm already weaning myself with it, switching to a lower dose of nicotine.
you can do it.
in one way it may have been "easier" for me because i had surgery that just kicked my ass. i couldn't do anything for a few days afterwards. that day was my quit date.
for all the other years when i was healthy, i always thought, i'll get around to quitting. it never happened.
