Oh my but these bring back some really great memories :-)
Triplicate plus one.
I'm surprised you didn't use Jet Plane, my favourite PP&M song. Certainly, a trio that had some great music.
In the picture from Rich Man, Poor Man, Paul sure does look like Topolov!
My first thought. ![]()
Listen to the song..
"A rich man eats when he wishes; a poor man whenever he can."
it gives you the basic truth of society and the individual within the embodiment of the 4 classical elements of Greek cosmology all in 4 simple stanzas.

John Denver's "Jet Plane" is a nice song but it's far from one of my favorites. Another Denver song they popularized (and which I like better) is "For Baby (For Bobbie)" even though Mary Travers is the only vocalist.

Topolov definitely favors Noel Stookey in his younger days.

I prefer their version over John's although my range is the same as his and I can sound a lot like him on many of his songs. I understand now that you were only doing their original work.

It's triplicate plus one... the plus on is their cover of a Richard Farina (who was married to Mimi Baez, Joan's sister, and died very young in a motorcycle accident) song.
Here's Mimi and dick Farina singing the playful "Hard Lovin' Loser."

Very nice addition! Thank you.
I wasn't aware of the tragic short life of Joan's sister.

Here are three plus one PP&M songs I listen to (and play) over and over.
Hurry Sundown
Rich Man, Poor Man
Pack Up Your Sorrows (they're cover of Richard Farina's song)
The Song is Love
