And it goes same with many other crazy theories, where such flaws are simply ovelooked for no good reason, but them all, the pro and the cons, being narrow minded.
Check this out: I have a friend who believes the earth is hollow, with an access hole at the north pole. He also claims inside there is an advanced civilization that corresponds to the UFOs that we sight from time to time.
He finished university, he got a degree in telecommunications engineering. And he is still strongly convinced of the same nonsense. No argument will change their beliefs, I don't know why.

Well, when we say locally, we must specify the area of the local terrain under consideration, plus which type of terrain. I considered mountain terrain in 2 squared miles.
