#32, while Java combat is a basic combat system that does have some skill- bedrock combat is mountains more complex which allows for a higher skill ceiling. While CPS is important- it is not the core of bedrock combat- combos are. Combos can be created and broken out of through MANY complex methods and knock back can be altered by doing things such as switching through the hot bar. Pre-combat update java edition combat was more similar to what you think bedrock combat is like.

Bedrock though. All you need to do is look up those videos where people randomly die to fall damage, blocks don't place, mobs teleport etc. Bedrock is significantly more broken. Oh and also paid mods and cosmetics are lame

Bedrock is significantly simpler for multi-player though, and it's cross platform. They both have their advantages

Prediction: It will take Mojang 4 more years to make Java and Bedrock identical. Then they will merge them, using the bedrock UI.
