ucsc caves again

i have a little more time to explain.  i haven't thought much about this in over 25 years. just something my friends and i would do for fun every now and then.

we didn't have the internet, i was raised in aptos, hit the beach every day.

we were all pretty crazy.  but going into this cave was something we could do

for the whole day. and our main goal was to reach the book, and sign it.

like i said before, it took about 6 hours or more to reach it. and we didn't have anything other than basic t-shirt and jeans, no rope, just 2 disposable flashlights

apiece. and the last guy was in charge of the string. what im curious about is

has anyone found the book. or is it still there. if anyone knows anything about it
