I've literally beaten everyone in the universe at chess to include the most advanced A.I that is possible. I feel as though I should just retire and set aside what once was a huge passion now comes to a dead end , I love where it's taken me although I'm not where I want to be. Do I keep opening Queens pawn and taking fancy pictures through a state of the Art camera or do I get a tattoo of Magnus Carlson on my face and start playing Dungeons and dragons with a MeetMe group a few times a week and our Dungeon Master is a complete alcoholic but for some reason everyone loves him. Faith
The truth is this ; the chess board changes do to your perspective. If instead of moving pieces, you selected a piece do to it's value It would be a sequence of value significance versus your opponent. We are able to position these pieces further benefiting them.
To quickly tap you in , look at the board from only a bishops position, now the chess board is diagonal. When you load into the match are you looking at it face front , or are you seeing the board morph as you selected a piece ? From which perspective is best ? For you to decide.
