During the 70's and 80's, a village Marottichal in Kerala, India was plagued by alcoholism, gambling and fights. Then an angel in the form of Mr C. Unnikrishnan entered the scene. He wanted to save the village from this evil and started to teach chess to the villagers. In a short time everybody started playing chess and the whole village gave up alcohol and gambling!
