War of the lemon tree

(Part of the Lemon Tree war series) (Also sorry if it's in highlight, I wrote this earlier today and saved it to google keeps. This was not stolen by anyone. Also, if you spot any references, let me know!)

Loud metallic clangs. Men falling to blades. Loud screaming, both of agony and pride. Violence and fear. Many emotions are expressed at once. Bloodshed. It's everywhere. On hands. On land. On swords. On arrows. This war is over a commonly disliked fruit. Lemons. This goes a while back, 3 months ago. Two kingdoms, their names being the Allied house and the Powerhouse. The Allied was led by king George de Aeroe, and the Powerhouse was lead by queen Uchi Samotein. Every town member would bow in regard to these two kingdoms. Now, don't get me wrong, these kingdoms were great Allies. But greed overcomes all. The Powerhouse wanted more... well, power. The great assistant of Queen Uchi, Barron, assassinated King George. This lead to a war against the Powerhouse's most valuable artifact, the lemon tree. The lemon tree was first planted by the Uscaki clan 10,000 years ago, along with the first kingdom, The Power Legion. The tree then grew as the kingdom came with cruel dictators, greedy kings, and many fights. It's been rumored that this tree can never get ruined, and is indestructible. So, to narrow down the kingdom's power and send them to a loop of terror, the Allied House would burn the kingdom, kill all of the citizens there, and enslave their queen, just to torture her publicly. The next day, the prince, Prince Albert de Aeroe led his father's men to begin. They stormed the gates. Ambushed and suprised, many unlooking guards were slaughtered on the town hall's floors. Marketers were ransacked and slain. Children murdered. Everyone was either fleeing or trying to warn the queen. This was part of the plan. To put the town into fear by shedding blood, and have a second troop wipe out the other half, burn the tree, and kidnap the queen. Within minutes, 1,000 people lost their lives. And guards all over rushed in to help, only to be heavily pushed back. The ambush troops had done their job. Kill, terrorize, and distract the kingdom so the tree can be burned, BUT by then the queen already knew, suspected the plan, and defended the tree.
