I mean most of guys are under 1000 rank. The most they can reach is 1000, which is strictly amateur.

What all this worth for? May be check mating other player give another player a rush. And made them think of themselves as genius or something.

when it is alredy proven that, its all about practice.

Aren't you the person who just recently posted a thread where you said you get ---- when playing? (Could be mistaking you for someone else - Your name just rings a bell as being associated to the thread)

Isn't football a waste of time? Jobs are a waste of time. Love is a waste of time too. And money is a waste of time. Time is waste itself. :P

Pulpofeira

Areez is right, nothing is a waste of time.

NewArdweaden, I had the same reaction when I saw the thread... but I'm not sure if it was mohittgandhii who posted it or someone else - I could be associating him to that thread because I read something else immediately after I stopped laughing that was posted by him...

Yes, I recall this Indurain's quote: "yeah, you climb a mountain with your bike, then you descend, but what's remaining after it?"

It's cute that you called tea 'distinctly British' even though it was being used for thousands of years before the British claimed it.

That article touches on many interesting ideas. It would be nice if you would double or triple its length with more details.

Yes, the irony struck me while writing it. It's easy to imagine tea without the British, but we've forgotten how the British were before tea.

Being British is a state of mind, not a nationality.

The nationality of persons belonging to England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland is British Citizen. There is no such thing in law as English, Scottish or Welsh nationality. There is, however, Irish nationality, an entitlement to which is bestowed on all N. Irish persons by the Republic of Ireland.

Being British may well be a state of mind to some, but I assure you that it is also a legal nationality. Look at your British passport, if you have one - you will see that it describes the holder as "British Citizen".

Everything you do or have done is a waste of time until yours runs out and you are gone.

Nothing is a waste of time if it makes you feel good.

Not entirely true. Going on drugs to make you feel good is a waste of time. Plenty of things that make you feel good can be a waste of time. Spending hours and hours addicted to videogames for example, I mean like when you can't pull yourself away.

The whole point of something feeling good biologically is that your body feels like something is right about doing this. The corporations (and even some well-intentioned people) have found out how to hack into these feelings in the modern world. You can feel good and yet it be a waste of time.

You need to first define what is the your goal in life. If enjoyment is enough, my statement is correct to a degree.
