Watching Live Games like Hikaru does on stream?

Hi guys,
I have a question is someone can help me figure it out. I watched Skilling finals today on Hikaru's stream and he was watching the game live on chess.com but he could move the pieces and had engine analysing the moves. However when I opened the game on the website under today event's I could watch the moves but I could not move anything.
Any idea how does Hikaru watch the games? Thanks for any help have a great day.
