Because of its size maybe? Millions of earths could fit inside the sun, so I’ve read
I think it is because the ‘other’ planets don’t have their own light so they are very faint in the sky but closer planets like mercury and Venus are able to reflect a lot of sun’s light
Moreover the planets have to on the side of the sun in which earth....so if a planet is on the other side of the sun then the sun will block our view

No its not because of its size ,it’s because I emits light. We can even see the moon but we CANNOT FIT MILLIONS OF EARTH IN IT! The moon is visible to because it REFLECTS sun’s light.
