weezer saved my life

back in 2023 and 2024 i was a miserable self loather and i spent my time hating everyone and everything until a glint of light came in the form of weezer

the first video i found of weezer was in early 2024 and it was schlatt raging at his viewers sending him weezer memes and it gave me a good chuckle that i hadnt felt since 2022

later in the year i found more weezer related media and in the summer i began listening to buddy holly on loop and eventually listened to the blue album for the first time (as a joke)

it was an amazing experience ill never forget the tunes of say it aint so and only in dreams

it wasnt long before i started listening to weezer unironically in august and september and in november there was a pivotal point when i listened to pinkerton for the first time

now i find myself in my current state as a weezer fan that did a complete 360 from my old self who would have hated me now

i will be forever grateful for weezer
