Masks do help some. They help to cut down on aerosol particles, but don't do much to stop the virus.

Yep. Once again, I've said it many times. They aren't 100% ineffective. Also, it's not like the "know". No one really "knows" anything, with more and more research more things about the ineffectivity of these masks is surfacing.
