you watch me. Oh I broke the rules. After today then. How in the world did you spot the thread?!
Im reading a psychology book called Games People Play by Eric Berne, and in it it says we all play the part of child, adult or parent in our relationships i.e. We still act like we would have as a child sometimes, or copy what a parent would have done, or act as an adult when we work things out for ourselves. Thats as far as i've got.
Its a tracked activity cos you on my friends list.

Yeah I went onto an adapting behaviour course and heard about this . Adult , parent or child . There's something to it . I know a senior manager that talks to a manager like she's about two and the manager talks like a two year old . It's just incredible .

I'd like to talk about a couple of things . Firstly I'd like to give people an idea of what I mean .
Well what makes a person ? What makes us us? Religion, thought , consciousness . How does it all fit together ? Is free will a fact or a fantasy ? To sum up , what are we ?

Secondly I'd like to talk a little about how things are for me .
I've learned that what's healthy is not to worry . Just be my natural self . I'm going to do that here . I'm going to stick to posting times to allow my wife to be comfortable with my internet time but once I'm here I'm just going to relax and be me . I'm not following any rules . If the thread is taken down so be it and if I'm muted I'll accept that .
I think I'll be okay though because I genuinely don't mean any harm to anyone at all .

So I'd like to make something else clear too . Everyone and anyone is welcome to post here and any contribution at all is welcome . I trust and value people .
I want you all to know that you can be your natural self with me and you can trust me because I am not a malicious person . I have a couple of ways of looking at what we are . The first is just talking about it with you guys . The second just observing what I am . I plan to write what I see when I observe here .
I tried looking into the science I found that all I got was a very high overview which was everything is natural (not divine ) .
I have to say though if when I observe I find that I was wrong about that I'll admit it .

I'm interested in what we are in two ways . Firstly the structure . So for example you could say we are a mixture of beliefs and thoughts . Chemicals and cells .
You could also say we have territorial instincts , a tendency to lean on the supernatural when we are frightened or lack purpose or knowledge .
So two levels there and I'm interested in them both .
I don't care about which particular belief people have more just the way we are made up . An overview if you like .

What really really interests me and why I am here is I want to get what our spirit is . What our soul is . Even if like me you take the view everything is natural (not divine) we love , we seek beauty , we care . It's those things that make our lives worthwhile and make what we are worthwhile and it's those things that fascinate me .
