Who needs well informed giggles? World has too serious giggles anyway.
Many girls stay away from chess. I'd like to see the presumptions about who can become a good chess player changed.
The chess scene for woman and girls is changing very rapidly, Diana, most of the change coming within the past 7 years or so. I have expectations that within a generation 30% of USCF rated games will be played by females. And that approximately 30% of every rating category will be women and girls, as well. At least in this country. btw, in your day, you were a terrific player.
