Apparently young folk wanting to experience a marijuana high are succumbing to tainted vape capsules.

My question is, what is so bad about the actual plant matter? Why does anyone need a prepackaged capsule? Does no one stop to think, hm, what could they have put in this thing? Hydrogen cyanide, anyone? Vitamin E?

Only H. Sapiens takes a relatively harmless plant, twists it beyond all recognition, and turns it into something dangerous. For his own destruction.

Let's break it down:

Vaping known plant matter, YES.

Vaping capsules, oils, or unknown quantities, NO.

plant matter is also a more enjoyable experience than the cartridges. Take it from a pro, kids ;)

Neither are for kids, to be clear, but clearly kids are doing the capsules / cartridges anyway, getting them somehow or other. I imagine it must not be too difficult, based on what I remember from ancient times when I was a teenager. I am speaking mainly to the bad ones that are into that sort of thing, not the wiser ones that know enough to steer clear. Basically, if you must do that junk, at least know what you are doing.

the cartridges are as easy as flower to obtain on the black market (also known as asking around). Flower also has the potential to be contaminated with harmful pesticides. The only real solution is full legalization.

Based on my heavy consumption over a lifetime, there is a 0.000000001% chance of a tiny trace amount of pesticide on plant material. I may recall a bad trip here or there from back in the day. Pesticide, maybe.

Weigh that against a nearly 100% chance of noxious, toxic substance in the oil-filled capsule which contains God knows what.

I think I know which choice is the smarter one. Still not smart, because smartest is ABSTINENCE! But smarter than spinning the roulette wheel on idiots whose only motive is profit. Of course they are going to take short-cuts and put in additives that happen to be available in their kitchen. Cheap and easy are the order of the day when it comes to manufacturing capsules for the stupid vape user.

Abstinence is best.

That is a fair question. I am not sure I remember. I think it had something to do with wanting to be a better person.

Cool, thanks.

I dunno, man... you can't even get arrested for it anymore.

(not in Canada, anyway).

Well, in the States, you CAN get arrested and go to JAIL for possession, and that may be why young folk do the capsules, to be secretive and evade detection. Another example where the law makes things worse rather than better.

Smoka de weed= you may be forgetful like an old man.

Smoka de capsules = you may get permanent lung scarring and become invalid 4 LIFE

Deleted an earlier post for being indiscreet about friends irl. Long and short is that I think it should be legalized and treated with the same standard as something like cbd oil.

I can understand the demand for e-cig thc liquid. Most people want to switch all their smoking over, but it's not smart.

I agree with the fella that said the risks of vape juice are crazily higher.

The system is going to make vaping illegal, so that people have to go back to smoking. That means you will not even be able to vape plant matter. As usual, a bunch o' idiots ruins it for everybody. Trouble is, you can't legislate the Stupid away. Stupid always finds a way.
