I mean, super cold isn't fun; but neither is super hot. I feel like most people who complain about snow actually despise the cold, but usually because they don't know how to dress warm enough.

Wear clothing layers (pajamas pants or sweat pants under regular pants are cozier), wear hat/gloves for cold etc. I even like wearing scarfs in the winter. It is more fun when you know different types of knots and false knots too (since they look different fashion-wise and also some knots are better for cold than others).

p.s. Also, snow has so many fun activities hotter weather doesn't allow: skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice skating etc. happy.png

But isn't super hot worse than super cold? If cold, you could just keep adding warm layers of clothing, but if hot, there is only so much clothing you can take off :/

p.s. I've experienced both sides of the temperature spectrum of "too cold" and "too hot." Coldest I've experienced was about -20 degrees Fahrenheit and hottest was about 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Neither extreme is good though.

im not a fan of xmas , for many reasons

i dislike how commercial it is

i really dislike how it falsely claims to be the time christ was born ,,,,

i think it should be when sheep have lambs as the bible myth says ,,,ie springtime

i prefer the winter solstice thats the real reason why humanity in the northern hemisphere have revered this time of year for thousands of centuries

so i will wish you all a happy solstice and look forward to the earth turning and the days growing longer and warmer

im not a fan of xmas , for many reasons I think Christmas is my favorite holiday happy.png I can understand how it may not be the same for others though.

i dislike how commercial it is True, it is greatly over-commercialized. For a Christian, this isn't the main point of Christmas though; the holiday isn't only a time for family and "holiday cheer" etc. I still enjoy the commercial element of Christmas, but I do believe it could take away from the point for some.

I treat the commercial element like a tourist; it isn't authentic, but sometimes it can be fun to embrace the atmosphere anyway xD

i really dislike how it falsely claims to be the time christ was born ,,,, Who said that? December 25th is unlikely the exact day Jesus Christ was born; Christmas celebrates his birthday then because historically it coincided with a pagan holiday celebration and it was less suspicious (in face of persecution) if the celebration overlapped.

It is like how sometimes I don't celebrate my birthday exactly on my birthday, but a few days in either direction etc. The day December 25th isn't important in itself; it just so happens to be the day Christians choose to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

i think it should be when sheep have lambs as the bible myth says ,,,ie springtime Many scholars suggest it was a time of the year with warmer climate than December too. I realize we are talking closer to the equator than snow typically falls etc. but let us not forget Jesus was born in a manger...outside...when it was probably somewhat cold but not THAT cold. Most likely a Spring, or even early Summer month.

i prefer the winter solstice thats the real reason why humanity in the northern hemisphere have revered this time of year for thousands of centuries Changing of seasons is nice too, but I don't feel like this is really celebratory to the level of a holiday such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day etc.

so i will wish you all a happy solstice and look forward to the earth turning and the days growing longer and warmer Ah yes, "earth turning" because rotation of the earth is (quite literally) important on a life-changing scale xD No joke, life on Earth (if life at all) would be vastly different if Earth rotated slightly differently, or worse yet, not at all!

My answers in bold above for easier reading than re-typing the questions xD
