Do you mean petrified wood? Because I've done my own research and have determined that petrified wood is a possibility.
Can you tell what it is made of? If I saw something like that around here I'd first assume it was an animal bone that had been chewed on by other animals. Small animals often chew on bones for the calcium in them.
I found this in my backyard a couple of months ago and couldn’t figure out what it is. Does anyone know what it is?
