What Will You Call 2010?

     Now that the new decade has arrived, there has been much talk on television
about what we should call 2010.
     Should it be twenty ten or two thousand and ten?

Twenty ten, It's been talked to death in South Africa for years, we are hosting the FIFA world cup. Always twenty ten.

Two thousand and ten. Smooth transition from two thousand and nine. Just an opinion of course, twenty ten is fine too.

to the OP, I've been thinking about that too, I think I'll stick to the two thousand and ten. is much easrier to say one thousand, nine hundred and forty five that why we say  nineteen forty five instead.
