To control thing is like being a movie director. There is one person telling everybody what to do. Without that one person, nobody knows what to do.

Each actors have an idea of how the movie goes. Each costume maker, each makeup artist, each musician, each lighting technician, each editor . . . the list goes on and on.

It's like you have a bunch of tribes and one nation.

Imagine 50 independent sates of America. How does that work? Each state have it's own FBI, FDA, CIA . . . ABC 123?

It's like having 100 mice and not 1 person.

Why don't they just write things by hand?

What if somebody can't read somebody's handwriting?

So that is why they need secretaries to type up letters.

The "type" writer makes everyone conform to one font. Making communication more free.
