I loved Close Encounters of the Third Kind.  It was a movie I saw in my early teens and it made a big impression on me.  Started the entire UFO era.

I was suprised by a good Comedy called A Fish called Wanda.

 It's a screen shot from David Lynch's Inland Empire... I'm also a David Lynch nut. As to Manhattan, I watch it about every other month, and I never tire of a singly frame of it!

The Big Lebowski has got to still be one of my favorites. That movie gets me rolling everytime. The Lord of the Rings are movies I can always get into with my kids.

But the height of Thespian achievement has got to be Johnny Depps portrayal of Hunter S Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
