I started a few years ago my mom forced me to play and used to hit me with a stick everytime I lost a game

I was inspired to learn when I watched the scene form Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone when they play chess on the giant chessboard. I thought it looked cool so I decided to learn. That was about 6 years ago
