No it`s not, if God was real He would show us that He is there. Therefore the answer can be "I know that God is the Creator". Also, He has shown us proof in many ways.

Well, I guess congratulations are in order to Hank Green for proving the origin of the universe. I hope that when he accepts his Nobel Prize in physics next December, he doesn't forget to thank his parents during his acceptance speech...

Who made the devil?  Did the devil predate man? Did God create the devil?  If so, evil existed before man, which means God invented evil. If God existed before everything, evil had to be created. Why did God allow the devil that he created to corrupt man?  Why did God give Angels super powers, but not man?

The typical answer is:  "God permits evil, but does not cause it."

Do you believe in God now?

Next we can discuss the events at Mt. Sinai where millions of people heard God speak, but they all chose not to write anything down about it for nearly 2,000 years. They recorded census information, other religions, daily life, etc., but not one word about the events at Mt.Sinai. Why?

Never heard that story

What you or I believe isn't the issue - you're claiming proof.

Yeah... the proof shows the effects of God, just like the bible says! happy.png

1:23 into the video, he already makes the common mistake of saying evolution was random. Evolution isn't random at all. It's very logical. It selects for genes that get passed on.

Mutations are random, and as you'd expect, most mutations don't help.

As for the fine tuning crap in general... do you know what it means to "die of exposure?" It means a person dies because they were outside too long. Fking think about that for 5 seconds. The planet (and especially the universe) is hostile to life. Nothing is fine tuned. The bar has  always been very low, and that bar is called survival. Nothing is optimized, not even close.

Anyway, 4 minute long clickbait-titled videos aren't serious, they're entertainment for babies.

"Repeats his faith"??  It`s "proving his faith".  If it was that bad then you would be able to refute it... but you can`t so you say random things that have nothing to do with the subject like "Are you home schooled"?

Asking you if you were homeschooled was based on previous interactions demonstrating your lack of awareness of alternatives and what's out there. Hardly random or even supernatural. Just an educated guess. Not a belief since it was a question. However the response was  somewhat enlightening

Ability and willingness to refute or explain to somebody who refuses to even try to understand what's out there are two different things.

But as I've already said, you win.

Who made those genes have those capabilities? And how did the first species of everything survive?

God doesn`t want us to live on Earth forever and you must trust Him.

"Entertainment for babies"? Why the anger? Just repent and you will have the best gift you could receive! happy.png

If you accept as a premise that a creator exists, then sure, it's easy to prove a creator exists... err...  not really prove, but assume.

As for how biology works, it's just chemistry, and chemistry is just physics. Natural laws explain how the body works, which is why medicine is a thing.

When you get very sick you go to the hospital to get better, you don't go to church.

That`s just people`s analysis on the creations of God

You misunderstand my answer.

You've been saying you can't explain biology without magic... but you can. It's just natural laws, no God necessary.

And again, if you make the prior assumption that God exists, then sure, you can say "that's just analysis on God's creation" but this isn't proof, it's assumption.

Who formed those laws? All creations both visible and invisible in the universe have a creator.

Examples:

Buildings = builder

Book = Author

etc.

So that means there has to be a Creator for the universe

llama51
MATTHEWch6v14 wrote:

That's a nonsense question without a prior assumption that laws must be formed by someone.

And if you make that assumption, then sure, something like God must exist... but again this is your assumption.

If the first species of everything was imperfect then none of them would have survived.

If they were perfect, then that is proof of the intelligence of God.

You can make the same argument about God.

Everything came from something, therefore God had a creator.

But of course no matter what you believe in (atheist or theist) the assumption "everything came from something" doesn't make sense. You always reach a point where the honest answer is "I don't know why that exists."

MATTHEWch6v14 wrote:

That assumes things tend in one direction forever, but for example in real life you have bi-stable processes that fluctuate back and forth between two states without ever going in one direction forever.

More explicitly, you could have something imperfect that oscillates between becoming less and more perfect, without every destroying itself (and without ever becoming perfect).

See, this lack of imagination and knowledge leads you to make nonsense statements like "If the first species of everything was imperfect then none of them would have survived"
