DOGS OBVIOUSLY! I'm prejudiced because I am allergic to cats.

And kiwi, peanuts, dust, pollen, mosquito saliva and plant irritants
cats are superior to dogs every day of the week and twice on sundays
Going to have to go with cats on this one.

I used to carry pepper spray for dogs. That stuff works real good on unleashed strays that decided to chase me but you'd better be sure you can deal with the pissed off owner in the aftermath!
