Whoever said Florida, no. A million times no. “Oh look sand and water for the millionth time” is not interesting anymore. Plus they got Florida men and people only like building the attractive stuff at the beach, and since there’s so much half of them are run down but STILL overpriced.
Essentially it’s not the best state.

Is this survey about how kids fare in certain states, or the level of crime in a given state, etc.?? The thread title was admittedly ambiguous, but perhaps the OP meant quality of life in general, not just certain aspects of it. How about the subject of the best state in the U.S. to VACATION in?? I vote Tennessee----very beautiful place...(and no, I'm not from the Volunteer State; just vacationed there several times)

That's how things go here. You're not allowed to mention criteria when giving "best" opinions; That would be far too logical...
