There's a new show that focus on chess, it's called "endgame"... It's actually fun to watch.

You also have, stargate franchise. (SG1, Atlantis, Universe)... Sadly, sy fy sucks and canceled the latter.

Spartacus.  Blood and Sand much better than Gods of the Arena but "Gods" is worth a look to put "Blood" in context and to get ready for "Vengence" starting in January.

And "Walking Dead" is worth mentioning again:  AMC this October.

Usually, it’s considered spam to bump old topics, but this kind is good I think because you might find some FORGOTTEN TV.

a series I liked from back then was The Lost Room (2006)

I watched Prison Break during its original run. It was great, especially the first season. It’s getting a reboot due to a recent resurgence of popularity on streaming.

Breaking Bad

Up until its final season, I may have liked Breaking Bad’s spinoff prequel Better Call Saul even more. In my favorite episode, “Chicanery”, Saul Goodman tricks and antagonizes his intensely unlikeable brother into having an embarrassing meltdown in court.

Spartacus recently got a spinoff series called House of Asher. It’s an action packed alternate history. If you enjoyed those original series from the 00’s, you should like it.
