on mars, uv wont be that much of an issue, amrs is really far from the sun...uv refracts very easily...by the time it will reach mars, it will have refracted so much that the concentration wont cause much of an issue... =)

russia, canada and kasakstan are the only reliable suppliers of u-235 =)

Yeah...but all the other energy sources combined costs way more than maybe 1000 nuclear reactors around the world would cost...and it provides sustainable energy for days...
The issue would actually be finding ur-235....uranium is very common but ur 235 is quite rare =)
