a quick question. Why is everyone so against Christians?!? Why is everyone blocking me for what i believe?!? What have i ever done anything wrong to you?!?

me im almost atheist but also lean towards pagan , but i wont block you just because you follow a faith mate , thats your choice and im ok with folk having differing viewpoints as long as it harms none ,

I notice that your flair and description are about Christianity, you have multiple forum topics on the topic of your Christianity, and have joined multiple related clubs. Many people, even religious ones, believe that you should keep your religion more private than that. Even if they agree with it, they might not approve of you using chess.com to attempt to spread it around.

If you speak in terms of outside of this website, well, it's not true. In fact, it's quite the opposite. The world does not hate you, your religion is the most common on Earth and by far the most common in your country. I lived in the USA for 10 years, and even living in one of the most progressive states in the country, I was still told never to mention in public that I wasn't religious.

By the way, it's often the most divergent and opinionated groups that speak out, so though it may seem that everyone hates Christians on this site, it's most likely just the few most intolerant users that you're seeing act on it. In reality, there are millions of silent Christians on this website for every outspoken non-Christian, just like all the discussion groups on chess.com are full of sensible people, but the only people who speak are the conspiracy theorists

uh i am not against christains, i hate however when christains rub it in my face tho telling me sorts of creepy personal questions like what my mom believes and why i dont? i like anybody regardless of religion or political beliefs, just dont stress me on being a "normal person"

now I don’t have anything against Christians in general. But to me, a non religious person, stuff like that really gets up in my face. Obviously not worth a block, but no need to be like that to random people just taking a look at your profile. It reminds me of when I played a guy who was *very* religious. I wanted to analyze our game afterwards but he just said “I didn’t have enough faith in God” and left, which was a bit weird. Anyways that’s off topic, but stuff like that makes me feel uncomfortable. Some people might block you. Thats what I have to say, I guess.
