1. Try not to be inappropriate

2. Do you actually think they were the first people created? Like what`s your opinion on the creation of the first people.

ronald  , many sacred sites are built on top of previous sacred sites to keep the past congregation going to the present , a good example of such is Glastonbury Tor , sacred initially to the Celts , then the Christians

tomfinney123

its strange when cultures coliide they get some bits right , for example you see round the tor lines carved , thats the celt approach to the summt you walk round  the journey. the journey of life ,

the christians went one straight path to the tower , they get some bits right though , still a very sacred spot

What do you mean first people?

Everyone knows that humans can't be born without other humans to make them.

And since humans exist today, it means humans have always existed since the beginning of time.

So there were no first people.

I was joking, but it's kind of funny now that I think about it... some religions actually believe this (they think humans existed really close to the beginning of time).

But I guess one thing that, how to say it... that motivates us to imagine something as absurd as a creation event, is that in a way, we all have personal experience with this!

At one point we didn't exist, then suddenly we did, like magic. And as you get older and see children be born, you get to know people who didn't exist a few years ago.

So for primitive humans, the event of life magically appearing was part of every day life. So of course that magic would make it into their stories.

I don’t like to talk much about religion things, but the only thing I can say is that if we said there was a god, it will explain it.

Sure, and you know, when have arguments born of convenience ever been wrong!

llama51

I mean it's not a good criteria.

llama51, so if your joking it means you don`t have an explanation... right?

No...

DrSpudnik

Imagine a world of trilobites by the billions. All slithering around in Earth's primeval seas with no care about gods or devils or salvation or anything. They eat, they crap, they fornicate en masse. For millions of years they led lives of pure trilobite pleasure.
