I mean really, stop and think about it. If your message as a Christian is that "the most important and powerful being has a personal interest in you as an individual, and loves you" then this requires no humility to accept. In fact it would help to be pretty arrogant.
This is a common pattern with religious types. They repeat phrases that sound nice, but those phrases don't really mean anything. In this case it's worse, it's both hypocritical (dismissing arguments as arrogant without first considering them is itself arrogant) and backwards (the idea that God loves you is not a humbling idea).

I should probably remind you that Christianity is not a dualistic religion. There is no evil God. There is only one God. Satan didn't create anything. God created everything.
Do you realize it was not God GOOD that tempted Abram to have him take his son to a pinnacle mntn area and sacrifice his only son? The verses regarding it clarified it wasn’t, not to mention such confusion alone, as well God tempts no man, neither is tempted, as written, because if you go to read instead of God personally speaking to Abram it’s not personal, nor God’s Infinite 1 day is as a thousand years to the Lord sense, because it states that God says ‘Now I know you fear God’, which is ridiculous because God would already absolutely know his heart and would CERTAINLY be personal and say it directly, you get the drift….
