While I wasn't being too deeply scientific, my simple point is:
what's a pollutant to us may be a necessity to others.
Didn't creatures on Earth once thrived on Cyanide and Carbon Monoxide before the Earth was invaded by Oxygen?

The global warming denial argument is so bad it's not even good enough to be wrong
The earth has been steadily warming since the temperature nadir of the last glaciation. Humans had scant little to do with it.
you dig yourself into a hole jamie when you state that fracking is
""Today, hydraulic fracturing is a safe and proven production method.""
cos you know it aint , it is unsafe and unproven , still you prob will disagree cos for some reason you is pushing an agenda that legitimises earth destruction , can i ask why btw ta
"
new cars don't even make enough co2 to commit suicide in a closed garage. running out of co2 and killing all the plants is a real possiblity!
You'll be waiting a long time for carbon dioxide to kill you in an enclosed environment. Carbon monoxide is toxic, carbon dioxide is not.
Everytime I drink a beer or a soda CO2 goes into my body. You know what, I have never felt any near death experiences.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information.

You must never have tried Anheuser-Busch Natural Light. I had one once, and I think I slipped into rigor mortis.

I've never met a beer I couldn't drink.
Nah. We simply can't breath it, since it is a toxic waste product from our body.
In which case, it is a pollutant; to us; the same way oxygen was a pollutant to most creates on young Earth. Bless the deviant little idiot organism that survived the infamous goat-slime for a gas which eventually gave rise to the very multi-cellular organisms billions of years later that depend their stupid survival on it. =)
Thoughts?
At what levels does CO2 become toxic to human life? About 5000 parts per million is the maximum allowed on submerged nuclear submarines and in space craft.
The current level is about 400 parts per million.
At about 150 parts per million CO2, terrestrial plants (of all types) begin to starve and die. During the glaciations of the Quaternary, CO2 levels dropped as low as 180 parts per million, as much of the world was covered with continental ice sheets as much as 10,000 feet thick.
"Pre-industrial" CO2 levels - where the misguided AGW Alarmists want to take us - is still dangerously low.
