The king is just a liability. He waits until most of his army is slaughtered, before putting in an appearance, what sort of a guy is that ! .......even let’s his wife do a lot of the fighting ! duh 🙄

Hmm, I would prefer to be the Queen. Travelling long distances practically everywhere. Being the best piece on the board. The king just hobbles around
It’s pretty obvious to me, that the king is just a free loader , frightened of getting his hands dirty ! 🤷♂️
Surly the king should be leading is army from the front , and not waving 👋 them “ goodbye “ from the rear 🙀

Yeah but the rules have been changed quite a bit from the original rules, for example the queen was pretty weak, iirc.

2.The 'queen' was actually not the queen since we are discussing 'ancient chess' here. It would be his prime minister or second in command
So both the queen AND the king were equally lazy and castling was invented waay later too.
