Java is supported on Windows 10 but you can't use it in Microsoft's new Edge browser. You have to use Firefox or Internet Explorer 11.
The only problem I have had with Windows 10 is that I have had to get along without the Office Starter edition that came with my Windows 7.
It boots faster, loads programs faster. I like it.
