To make it more interesting (and difficult) maybe we can make up words that begin with the last letter of the previous word. Donald, you are moderator, we did this before, what do you think? It can even be modified as we go: four, five or six letter words only, e.g. after your word, challenge the next person to use only a certain number of letters. Makes it more exciting!

Not too sure Ken... most of the members seem to want easement in time usage terms and a certain amount of simplicity is therefore implicit .Many players dropped out and not very many have come back so far ,in response to relaunch... Hmmm ... Extra thought involved may have contributed to the decline of associated play on words by moderator "Adk''.
