The youth of countries being fed lies about war throughout their childhood, just to enlist and have their image of war, their comrades, and themselves torn to shreds in their first offensive
#22 reminds me of Nazi Germany. People forget they were the first country to be crushed by Hitler
That’s just the body count, but I do agree that WW2 was sad. I object that WW1 was fought where over months, tens of thousands of people died just for a few hundred meters of land, which was usually taken right back
Whereas WW2 was fought all over the world instead of just Europe and the Atlantic/Pacific islands and 2 million people were lost to civilian execution in Germany
I advise you to watch or read All Quiet on the Western Front. It shows what the war was really like in the last few days
To be fair, there was already a lot of pressure from before. The assassination was just a trigger really (pun intended). The situation was kind of like a cold war minus the proxy wars like we had from 1945/9-1990/today

Ww1 was sad for lots, fair enough, but I would point out that technology advances during wads, sadly even ww2, ww1 says that the people will ruin their lives over silly things, you don't see anyone just going to war over one person... therefore this whole, it was triggered by the black hand is sorta untrue, multiple events lead up to it... and if this was a bad thing for the governments just remember that the black hands nation of origin wad pretty much enslaved. They kill theenslaved... everyone finds faces queen being beheaded to be fine bc she told them to eat cake. Which bte is not cake as in 🎂 but as in the stuff on the bottom of the oven... and the revolution in Russia with the czars to be okay. But an enslaved country uprising with conpruecies is not okay? That the wholenworld goes to war... this kids is called hypocrisy... and is very dumb... yes it was sad, but it was a dumb choice for all but the black hand, who just wanted freedom I think
