Yankees in trouble again

Unless they win three straight from Cleveland (not at all likely), the NY Yankees will be eliminated from the post-season in the opening round for the third straight year.  Any Yankee fans out there to console me?

Sorry, not a Yankee fan, but I do feel your pain. My Chicago Cubs are in the same boat, down 0-2 to the D-Backs. I also agree with you, like the Yankees, the Cubs will probally not win the next 3. If they keep playing like they did in the previous 2 games, they won't win today. Maybe then I can turn my attention to football. Oh wait, the Bears are 1-3 going into Green Bay 4-0. Looks like I'll stick yo my chess game this winter.

that's right; there's alway chess no matter how lousy our teams are.

Yanks had 3 hits in 11 innings Friday.  I give Cleveland credit for good pitching;  but 3 hits?  C'mon.  I do have to admit that Boston-Cleveland will be a real interesting series, assuming they get there.

The Yank-Red Sox rivalry is a thing of beauty, that's for sure.  One of the things that makes the rivalry so good is that both teams always have winning records.

I also hate the Sox but I am a Cleveland fan and am glad to have a team that doesn't completely suck.  Life is hard as  a Cleveland sports fan.

I'll be rooting for you if (when) the Indian-Sox series begins.
