Guys, there used to be a method using GeoGebra that we could use, but now they took away the sign in with Github option and i'm freaking out. I have Lightspeed Filter Agent and its worse than GoGuardian was someone help me I'm desperate

They blocked . for me. They have the word "un blocked" blocked. It's insanity. They blocked almost everything. And Spotify only works bc I downloaded the app before they disabled that. I just need to get to my Google chat which is through another acc, but Google chat is blocked for my acc on here and signing into out of domain accounts is also disabled and I'm freaking out. I'm wondering if there's something I can do to disable the filter maybe with using the Chrome command line or user agent but I'm not sure how

yeah they have custom block lists. From what I understand they created a custom block filter that blacklists the search term unblocked cause that way they can block like classroom 6x bc its not blocking classroom but its blocking the giveaway term that shows they're going around the system. Its seriously pmo 😭

Well, Chrome web store is blocked for our school in general cause they wont let us download anything bc they figured out people used it to download workarounds but I haven't tried it on another laptop

Yeah, I knew that, but I'm wondering if there's a way I could use the fundamental code of the filter or even use the Chrome user agent code to force block the filter.

its not like blocked by the filter but its blocked like by the school domain, so anyone with the student school email domain cant download anything

I'd say if it means I can talk to my friend during school to keep them from doing something really stupid, its worth it. And I'm on version 175. I just need to get to my Google chat, which I know is most definitely not enough to raise legal concerns, at least not at my school.

Our tech guy is super chill but I'd rather not chance it by messing with the physical hardware of the chromebook.

It's not about what you use it for, it's the fact that you altered the filter and would undoubtedly break school policies. Unless you want to get suspended, you can try to force block it, but I wouldn't recommend.

I'm not too concerned about getting in trouble- everyone in the school uses a workaround. And the school policies are surprisingly lax and leave an incredible amount of opportunities for loopholes
