Yes cruiserweight is (175-200 pounds) but likely they aren't that; they are heavier than 200 pounds in walk-around weight and cut some weight for their fights. Light heavyweights have a 175 pounds cap but again their walk-around weight is something like (+10-15 pounds) so they cut some weight for their fights.

And for smaller weight classes they have smaller weight cuts or perhaps none so you maybe won't be cutting 10 pounds... so if you are 150 at this time and need to cut some fat then idk how much 10 pounds fat? So basically get into the 10% body fat range where you're sharp so let's say 140 pounds; you may be cutting down to 135 for lightweight.

Weight in MMA and boxing is quite different; in MMA lightweight is 155 vs 135 pounds in boxing, and MMA fighters cut a lot more weight; like Khabib's sharp walk around weight is like 194 pounds (so 40ish pounds of weight cut), and like Dustin Poirier's walk around is 180-185 pounds (25-30 pounds of weight cut).
