are you on chrome? chrome has issues with apng images which i believe the icons are formatted as.

Briefly - I do not use google Chrome so that issue does not arise - thanks Mathew.
Mikey when you say I'm showing up as premium member - can you see the Diamond Icon along side my User name when you are in your online chess window ?
UPDATE :- I have now written direct to chess.com and they are responding within the next 24 hrs. I will let you all know the reason so that others (if they suffer the same problem) will know what to do.

Don't worry about the Diamond so much, just eye candy. It's the benefits that the membership level brings that's important. Try Chess Mentor or unlimited Tactics Trainer to suck the chessy goodness right out of it.

Hi everyone - another newbie !
I have taken up the offer and am very delighted with what I find.
After giving my details to activate the offer I re-visited the online chess section to continue playing and immediately noticed the 'Diamond' membership image alongside my User name.......That was pleasing to see ..... and did put a smile on my face!
I've returned from shopping, logged in and now find it has gone.
It also appears that fellow players membership images are also gone.
Has any one who has taken up the 10 Day free trial experianced this too?
This is not a complaint - just an observation - now I might have done something wrong but I have checked out my membership status and it confirms I'm on the Free trial.
