Alright, you finally wore me down...

Second that! I was very hesitant to pay for a membership when support for the iPhone (which if not perfected, could at least be improved) is not on the menu. But this is a great site, so I can only hope some attention will be paid to this issue, eventually. Some thoughts:
1. The iPhone does work on chess.com -- some of the time. Until today, I would have said 50% via WiFi, but only 10% via EDGE. However, I just upgraded to a Premium account, and it seems like the lack of advertisements helped improve the reliablity of successfully loading the chess board. I've also just now disabled the audio alert, as well as the "highlight last move" feature, and so far I'm loading the board via WiFi 100% of the time. I just tested EDGE and it worked on the first try, as well. I'll let everyone know how these changes work out. If anyone has other tips which seem to help, please let me know!
2. It would be nice to have a dedicated forum thread for iPhone users. We can keep track of new verions of MobileSafari and the effect it has here on chess.com, as well as tips for improving perfomance.
3. This is pure conjecture and very likely attributable to selective sampling error, but I'm suspicious that battery life may have something to do with it. I vaguely recall hearing that low battery life decreases WiFi signal strength, for instance; maybe it decreases network speeds in general, and causes JavaScript to choke. Just a thought.
Best,
Greg
... and I signed up without iPhone support.
So now that I'm a premium member, can I pleeeease have it?
I pretty much never pay for anything on the net (who does?
) but I just had to give you guys some money, this site is just so good
