The person who deals with the money is also named Matt. I don't have an answer to your question, but have you tried sending a ticket through help & support. That ticket thing was broken recently, but it just started working for some people in the last 12 hrs.

Hi Matthew! The unused portion of your platinum membership will be credited towards the diamond membership :) Hope that helps!
When I upgraded from platinum I had three months left until annual renewal. They made me diamond immediately and upgraded the three months I had left on my old membership to diamond but I paid the full price.
Does credited towards mean I would pay the difference, or it would be credited towards meaning time credited to it?

why isn't the upgrade plan made clear and public? I am wanting to buy Platinum but am holding back because I can't see how much the upgrade to Diamond will be if I later change my mind. It's not helpful to hide this information in private messages.

I have the exactly same question as everybody else, I have 9 months of platinum remaining and I now upgraded to dimond. So does that mean after the on month of dimond is gone, the nine months of platinim will be deleted or gone?

You had a certain amount of credit that would have applied to your diamond upgrade. So depending on that amount was the diamond membership would use that up. Once that is done, I believe it will attempt to renew the diamond, if you haven't disabled auto-renewal.

It used to show you how much credit you had when going through the upgrade. Basically they prorate what you have used and credit the rest towards a new purchase

I just bought one year of platinum membership, but I'd like to upgrade further to diamond. If I were to buy the one year diamond membership now, would the $50 I just spent on platinum be credited towards that purchase, so I would only be charged $50 more? Or would I pay full price, but have extra time credited to my diamond membership? Thanks

If you did it on the web, your unused portion will be credited to your purchase. If you did it through the iOS app, I think it depends on how recently you did it, but that's probably a better question for support. Same for Android.

I bought a platinum membership a couple of days ago. After spending more time with Chess Mentor and watching the beginnings of several videos I want to upgrade to diamond.
My question is: If I click on the upgrade page, do I pay the 99.00 towards the diamond and extra months are tacked on from the platinum, or does it give me a discount towards the diamond?
