wrong number of group members

Hello!

I am the admin of the The Queen's Elite group (http://www.chess.com/groups/home/the-queens-elite) and I was wondering what sort of algorythm chess.com is using when calculating the number of a group's members, because if I count my members I get to 94 while the group's front page displays 98 ??

I must mention that I have removed a number of 7 members from my group, but the currently 94 + those 7 removed still won't make 98...

So I was curious to know what is the problem here? I have also changed the group's image but in Firefox it shows up the old one while Chrome displays the new one... And yes, I have cleaned up the temp, cache, everything but the issue persists...very weird...

the number of members now correctly displays the reality but the group's image is still displayed differently across browsers...do you know why?

One more thing I'd like to mention here regarding the group's image issue is that on my profile page the group's thumbnail image correctly displays the new image while the group's front page displays the old one...

Try using 100x100 pixels, png format then once its uploaded, clear your browser cookies and history.

Hi, Kohai, thank you for you reply, but I already did that countless of times and the issues still persist, I wouldn't trouble you with this otherwise..

Another weird thing is that this doesn't always happen, I mean the group's profile displays either the old picture or the new one...

I'll contact some of my friends from that group and ask them if they experience this behavior or is just me...

Which image is supposed to be the new one? and which is the old one you still see on occassion?

The old one is a black crown, while the new one is a statue of a queen.

Thanks.  I've now created a ticket for the programmer to see. I can get the default 'no pic' to show after about 5 attempts, but its still reverting back to the crown :(
