I'm currently trying to actively improve at chess and I'm a big fan of the "plus, minus, equals" approach which dictates that to improve its beneficial to play/coach with someone better, worse and equal to your skill level.
I have the minus and equal part covered, but looking for someone better than me that would be interested in playing some longer games and chatting/coaching through them with me. Hopefully I could also be beneficial to someone as a minus
I'm thinking 1600 rapid rating would be a significant step above me as I'm about 1200-1300 rapid myself.
I would propose a daily format so we have time to chat, think and play without any rush.
